Beautiful Layla

Layla was wide awake for us during this session, gorgeous blue eyes following her mom around the room as we set up a few cute baskets to place Layla in. Her father is a fellow Photog and it's always nice to talk camera's and techniques over the evening hours!

Hawks BEWARE!

I have been chasing this elusive hawk for the better course of a month, stalking him in my car as I drive out to the horses, he just won't let me take his picture! Oh well, this is the closest I've gotten, one day he'll understand, lol.

Hawaii!

Maui was beautiful but the Big Island definitely topped it! Swam with spinner dolphins, surfed Big Island waves, night snorkeled with manta rays, kayaked to Captain Cooks grave, chased Gold Dust Gecko's and giant black bees and had a turtle beach itself beside me and fall asleep.

Spectacular scenery, friendly locals and fun adventures were all part of this trip. Met a nice guy who took a phenomenal photo of a 'face' in the lava and bought a copy to take home with us, plus I couldn't help but notice the two dogs on the datsun truck, perfect photo opt, lol. Can't wait to go back!

I love that Carolyn has a few 'spare' wedding dresses just to do photoshoots in! Always a good time shooting her as she is quite random at times and does things in high heels I wouldn't dare try in this lifetime!
